10 Crafty Ideas To Do With Elephant Coloring Pages
If you want to see some clever things you can make with my elephant coloring pages, like schoolwork, party decorations, paper crafts, and more, keep reading.
1. Make Your Own Baby Mobile
If you’re looking for a way to save money on bedroom decor, you might want to consider building your baby mobile.
Retrieve the elephant sheets from my list, print them out, color them, and then cut out their shapes to create the mobile.
Since this is going to be a baby’s room, I think my Kawaii Elephant Coloring Sheet (up there) would be ideal.
Next, place your elephants on a wooden circle frame or embroidery hoop, and tie them to long pieces of string or embroidery thread.
Lastly, tie more threads above each picture and join the ends of the threads to make a cone. Simply secure the hoop onto a phone case to complete the project.
2. A Storybook Inspired by Elephants
An excellent strategy for inspiring children’s interest in reading and writing is to encourage them to create their own narratives. Additionally, you could encourage them to create their own books to enhance their enjoyment of the endeavor.
To create this storybook, you will need to print out enough elephants to make a thick book (I would recommend a book that is between 10 and 15 pages).
Distribute the pictures to your pupils or children so that they can color them in. While kids are coloring, take large sheets of card stock and fold them in half to create a crease that will serve as book covers.
Attach all the pictures with staples, then attach the card stock to the photos. Ask your pupils or children to write their stories on index cards, and then place them at the bottom of each page with the index cards.
3. Elephant Story/Research Board
If you are teaching your kids or children about other continents, or even if you are just educating them about various animals, a nice activity for your students would be to create a narrative board or a research board.
If they are interested in learning about Africa or Asia, they could use the pictures above for this endeavor!
Give your children poster boards and a copy of the coloring page they choose for the animals so they can build the board.
When they have finished coloring in the elephant, have them paste it to one side of the board, and leave the other side of the board vacant for them to write their research or tale onto.
When they are composing a story, you should require them to include at least one fact that is true about the elephant photo they have chosen.
Have the kids show their boards to the class and give them points for being creative and using correct facts.
4. Elephant Wall with Pictures
Putting up adorable pictures is a wonderful way to arrange a baby’s room or a kid’s room. For this craft activity, you could print out and color my given elephant illustrations if they are best for their room environment.
After coloring the pictures, select a set of gallery wall frames, arrange them on the bedroom wall as you see fit, and hang them up.
5. Decorations for a Baby Shower
When planning a baby shower, it’s a beneficial idea to make your decorations to save money.
For this project, I think you should use my Kawaii elephant coloring sheet or the adorable baby elephant with bow pages (above), since they are both baby-themed.
You can use these sheets to construct posters, or you can cut out the silhouettes and use them to decorate gift bags, boxes, or even cake toppers!
6. Make an Alphabet Banner Based on Animals
Creating an alphabet banner with letters representing various animals can be a fun and creative way to help your pupils learn to read.
To create this banner, you will need to download a sufficient number of photographs, so that there is one for each letter of the alphabet, and then color them in.
Finally, connect the photos using twine or fishing line to complete the process!
7. Scrapbook/Photo Decorations
Make sure you have the cutest stickers and paper you can find for your elephant-themed baby picture album or scrapbook.
You can start by using these coloring pages as backgrounds for your layouts. You can also cut out the shapes and use them as stickers, page borders, or compact notepapers.
Consider using one of the images as the book’s cover instead!
8. Elephant/Zoo Coloring Book
You could use my free elephant coloring pages to create a coloring book for your child and save some money. You may choose to make it based on elephants, or you could choose from among the many other animal pictures I have.
Here are the steps you need to follow to create the book, but remember to leave the pages blank. However, I believe you should color one page to add to the book’s cover.
9. Make a Custom Cover for a Journal or Sketchbook
If your child’s journal or sketchbook requires repair or they simply dislike it, you could create a new cover by utilizing one of the elephant coloring sheets mentioned above.
To make a new book cover, just print out the picture, color it in, and use glue or Modge Podge to stick it on the old cover.
10. Children’s Stationery Set with an Elephant Theme
Give your kids a set of paper to teach them how to write letters and cards in a fun way.
After you print the images onto card stock (reduce the size of the paper before printing so the envelopes will fit), color them in.
Follow these steps to make matching envelopes!
