10 Crafty Ideas To Do With Gorilla Coloring Pages

If you want to make something fun and cheap with the gorilla coloring pages above, here are 10 ideas.

1. Exciting Game

To play a game with a gorilla coloring page, have the child color it and then cut out a big hole for the bird’s mouth.

You can enlarge the hole slightly beyond the illustration on the coloring page.

Next, glue the gorilla to a big square of cardboard, making sure to cut a hole the same size, and then laminate it.

Put the cutout in a doorway and make “grapes” out of small purple craft balls. It’s fun for kids to throw the grapes into the gorilla’s mouth!

2. Bring a Clipboard to Life

When you finished with coloring pages of gorilla then pick your favorite one, one of the fun things you can do with it is to carefully cut the head and the body apart.

You can leave the rest of the body alone, but you should glue the head to a piece of cardboard.

Ensure that you glue the gorilla’s head to the top clip and use its body to laminate the clipboard.

Therefore, squeezing the top to release or grab papers creates the illusion that the gorilla’s head is moving.

3. Funny Gorilla Mask

For this craft, you only need craft hair made of fabric, elastic string, and a coloring page of a gorilla.

After coloring the page, cut it out to the appropriate size for a mask, and attach fabric craft fur to the top with invisible glue.

Next, create holes for the mouth, nose, and eyes. Use a hole punch to create a space for the elastic string on each side.

Kids can have fun thinking they are in the jungle once the mask is on!

4. Gorillas dance like puppets

You can finish this simple craft very quickly! After coloring the gorilla, cut it out to separate the head, arms, and legs from the body.

The kid should use paper clips to put the gorilla back together. The figure can now move.

By gluing two craft sticks together in a cross shape, you can make the gorilla’s arms and legs.

You can now move the gorilla like a puppet.

5. Beautiful Gorilla Paper Weight

Kids should either find a medium-sized rock or buy craft stones at a discount shop.

You can either leave the gorilla page alone or cut it out, depending on the size of the rock.

Next, we wrap the gorilla page around the rock and secure it in place with glue. Rubber-based glue is the most effective for this task. The page must adhere tightly to the rock, even if it’s not smooth.

If you put two coats of acrylic on the paperweight, it will last a very long time.

6. Fancy Gorilla Cover Book

Kids of all ages enjoy this fun and useful project! Kids can make textbook covers with a plain brown paper bag and the classic book cover pattern.

Attach the colored gorilla pages to the book’s top without cutting them out. If the page is excessively large, trim off the sides.

After that, you can add green pom-pom edges, glitter, felt, or even banana-shaped yellow puffy paint to the covers! A fancy but useful book cover is the end result.

7. Gorilla Pop-ups

Kids can start this fun project by drawing and cutting out a tree from a green poster board. You can decorate the tree with either green pom-poms or torn crepe paper.

Tell the kids to cut a hole in the tree about halfway up. After coloring and cutting out the ape, you should glue it to something by pushing the craft stick through the hole.

This allows the child to manipulate the gorilla by pushing it up and down, simulating its exit from the tree.

8. Gorilla Letter Craft

For this project, which is lots of fun for all kids, start by drawing a bowl of grapes in the middle of a poster board.

Each child then traces and cuts out a capital “G” and a lowercase “G” to place on either side of the grapes.

Glue the colorful gorilla next to the letter “G” in capital letters, then glue the bowl of grapes next to the letter “g” in lowercase letters.

Observing the gorilla as it prepares to consume the grapes is an entertaining way to practice spelling.

9. Simple Gorilla Puppet

Once you’ve colored the gorilla, separate its head from its body and adhere it to the bottom of a paper bag. Place the body directly on top.

You can use brown construction paper to enlarge the arms and legs, and then glue them on the bag’s reverse side.

Add some funny wiggle eyes and a mouth made of red paint that is blown up. What happens is that the gorilla’s mouth opens up when the child slips his or her hand inside the paper bag.

10. Gorilla Attending Class

To start this fantastic project, choose a high spot in the room and hang a large length of thick green yarn from it.

The next step is to let the kids pick their favorite gorilla page, then they’ll color and cut them out, using glassine or acrylic spray to laminate them.

If you want to make it look like the gorillas are climbing up a vine in the jungle, you should punch one hole in each gorilla and then thread them vertically up the yarn.
