10 Crafty Ideas to do with Flamingo Coloring Pages

Here are 10 craft ideas for flamingo coloring pages that will add a touch of creativity and fun to your coloring creations:

1. Cupcake Toppers

Consider making one of my illustrations into a cake topper for a birthday celebration with a lovely flamingo theme (or any party, for that matter)!

Print out the flamingo you want and color it in, but don’t color the legs, then carefully cut it out along its shape, but don’t cut out the legs.

After that, laminate it so it can handle being sunk into the cake.

To put it on top of a pink and white cake, just push it in until it stands up straight.

2. Flamingo Party Fans

Are you planning a party with a flamingo theme? Make a fun party fan out of one of my flamingo drawings!

First, print and color your preferred flamingo design, and then carefully cut it out. This time, be sure to leave the legs intact for an added touch of flair. Attach the flamingo’s back to a strong craft stick or popsicle stick with glue.

If you want it to last longer and look better, try laminating it or gluing it onto cardstock before you attach it to the stick. These cute flamingo fans are both fun party gifts and fun decorations.

3. Flamingos with feathers

For a cute and fun project idea, have your child print out one of their favorite flamingo coloring pages.

Get pink feathers – you can buy them online at Amazon or find them at your local craft store (your dollar store might have bags of feathers; if so, you’ll have to fish out the pink ones).

Kids can make the flamingos look nicer by sticking feathers on them with Elmer’s glue or rubber cement. They can fill in the whole body or just the wings.

After they put on the feathers, have them color the rest of the flamingo. You can even put the art in a frame to keep it as a fun memory.

4. Flamingo Wall Garland

Make a cute and fun flamingo garland to hang in classes, bedrooms, or party areas!

If you want to add some variety, print and color more than one flamingo picture. After you cut them out, put colorful paper on the back if you want them to stand out even more.

Make small holes in the top of each flamingo and string or wire them on, making sure they are evenly spaced. To get a tropical feel right away, hang your wreath from a doorway, across a wall, or over the mantel.

5. Party Decorations

If your child or you want a flamingo-themed birthday party, have them help you decorate by coloring some pictures.

As early as a few weeks before the big celebration, you should sit them down with pink crayons or markers and instruct them to color in the flamingos one at a time.

You can laminate them to make them last longer, or you can even use paper to make them stronger.

You could cut them out and use them to make decorations, or you could use them to make little signs that explain what each food item is.

You could use the pictures as table centerpieces or just hang them on the walls to make the room look lively.

6. Flamingo Puppets

You can bring flamingos to life with stick puppets that are simple to construct—perfect for imaginative play or story time using our flamingo coloring pages.

First, color and carefully cut out the flamingo picture. If you want a different look, you can keep just the upper body or add the whole body.

Attach it to a craft stick or straw using glue, and for an additional dose of fun, decorate the wings with googly eyes or pink feathers. For fun, kids can put on little character shows with them or just walk around with their flamingo.

7. Flamingos Made of Tissue Paper

If you want to build a 3D flamingo out of my coloring pages, you may also use pink tissue paper.

Also, you can find tissue paper at any dollar store, so it’s not just cheap, but also adorable.

Simply cut the tissue paper into squares that are two to three inches across. Now, pinch the square in half in the middle and gather it up a bit.

Attach it to the flamingo’s body with glue. Do it again and again until the body is full.

8. Flamingo Fridge Magnets

Flamingo magnets that you make yourself will add a touch of tropical style to your fridge.

Simply choose a small flamingo picture, color it in, and then carefully cut it out. To make it last longer, bind it or stick it to thin cardboard.

A small sticky magnet can be easily found at craft stores or online and used to attach it to the back of the item. If you want to construct a set with a variety of positions, you may use it to display photos, notes, and drawings on the fridge.

9. Notepads

Flamingos make excellent bookmark decorations because to their long legs.

But before you print the picture, you might want to make it smaller so that it fits better in books.

Let your kids color in any flamingo they want, from the head to the tail.

After that, they can cut if they’re old enough, or you can cut the flamingo along its shape if they are younger.

If you have a laminator, that would make the bookmark last longer, but if not, you can use paper to make it stronger.

By using its beak and head, you can “hook” onto the desired page for saving!

10. Flamingo Gift Tags

Personalize your gifts with flamingo gift tags to make them stand out.

Using your favorite flamingo coloring pages, print and color small versions of the illustrations, then cut them into tag-sized shapes like square, circle, or even flamingo-shaped if you’re feeling creative.

Make a hole in the top and tie or loop some ribbon or twine through it. Write something short on the back, like “Let’s Fla-mingle!” or “Grateful to Give This as a Gift!” They’re great for baby showers, birthdays, and summer parties.
