10 Crafty Ideas to do with Horror Coloring Pages

Drawing scary pictures is a scary good time for kids of all kinds.

Here are 10 great, cheap, and enjoyable craft ideas you can make with scary coloring pages.

1. Make Your Movie Poster

A homemade horror movie poster is an exceptional bedroom decoration that is sure to make a huge impression on any child.

The kids should pick their favorite scary movie, color it, and then cut out the scary figure.

It should be stuck to the correct side of a poster board that is lying flat.

A fat line magic pen or puffy paint can be used by the child to write “Now Showing” and the name of the movie where the scary character came from on the left side.

2. Chucky’s Severed Hand Candy Holder

This scary Chucky craft is both scary and smart, making it great for trick-or-treaters this Halloween.

To make it look like a severed hand, start with a throwaway glove that is half full of wrapped candies. Then, tie the glove off at the wrist with red yarn.

After drawing and cutting out Chucky’s face from one of your favorite horror coloring pages, glue it to the top of the glove to make it look like his own “detached” hand reaching for treats.

Put some red paint drips down the wrist and use a pen to make fake stitches.

Finish it off with a scary tag that says “Sweet… but deadly!” and start having fun being scared.

3. The Crystal Ball by Michael Myers

Start the kid off with a clear plastic ball that you can get at any hobby shop. Fill it with torn tissue paper to make it look like smoke.

To make it look like the face is in the crystal ball, the character can be slid into the glass with the front looking out after being colored and cut out.

On top, you can put rubber spiders, homemade cobwebs, or other scary novelty things, and you can put this scary face anywhere!

4. Jason’s Hockey Mask

This Jason-themed craft is a must for your child if they like old-school scary baddies. First, instruct them to color in Jason’s iconic hockey mask from my collection of horror coloring pages. Subsequently, adhere the complete page to thin cardboard to ensure its durability.

After drying, slice the mask with precision and use a hole punch to affix elastic thread to each side, enabling it to be worn.

To make it scarier, add streaks of red paint to look like blood or glue on small foil machete forms that look real.

It’s the perfect scary ornament for kids who love scary things!

5. Mask of Scream

This game is great if your child’s favorite scary movie is “Scream.” The child should color the well-known mask and then glue the whole page to a piece of thin cardboard.

It’s possible to make holes on either side of the mask after it’s been cut out so that it can be worn.

Making bulging eyes with black pom-poms or adding some extra gore with puffy red paint are two other ways for the children to give it texture and depth.

6. Bloody Freddy Glove

This Freddy Krueger glove project is sure to thrill kids who love the scary world of Nightmare on Elm Street.

After tracing the child’s hand on a piece of brown construction paper and cutting it out, you will have the foundation for the glove.

After that, glue Freddy’s eerie face onto the wrist as a finishing touch after coloring and cutting it out of the sheet.

Then, make four long “knife” blades out of silver foil or gray paper and glue one to each finger. Add lines of red paint to make it look like the animal was just killed.

Add a small sticker that says “Never Sleep Again!” to finish off this craft that is both scary and fun.

7. A Scary Chucky Wreath

Every child will enjoy this scary Chucky project, which starts with a simple wreath.

This can be bought at a cheap store, or you can twist brown packing paper into a thick circle and make it by hand.

The Chucky figure should be stuck on top after it has been colored and cut out of the page. You can put a toy knife on the bottom after painting it with “blood.”

In order to complete this delightfully ghoulish wreath, the ideal final touch would be a small handmade sign that reads “Wanna Play?”

8. Pennywise Paper Plate Puppet

This scary Pennywise craft is fun and easy to make for people who liked the movie It.

First, take a simple white paper plate and color it to look like Pennywise’s face. Then, give it fiery orange hair, red lines through the eyes, and that evil grin.

As an extra touch, cut out the colored Pennywise face from the page and glue it in the middle of the plate.

Then, add red tissue paper frills to the bottom to make it look like his clown collar.

For an extra scary touch, glue a craft stick to the bottom so kids can hold it like a puppet. Then, write “You’ll Float Too” in red ink on the back for a final touch that will give you shivers.

9. The Hellraiser Cube is on Show

Making this straightforward craft, which is based on the infamous film “Hellraiser,” is a breeze.

Start with a small wooden box or even an old Rubik’s Cube. Then, cover all four sides of the box with black paper.

Over the top, you should write “Hellraiser” using puffy red paint and pieces from the coloring pages that adorn the other five panels.

Now that the kid has made the movie’s famous cube, it’s time to spray all of the eerie ensemble with acrylic.

10. Ghostface Door Hanger

This scary Ghostface door hanger from the movie Scream is a fun and frightening way to greet Halloween guests and pairs perfectly with horror-themed coloring pages for a spooky activity.

First, use strong black paper to cut out a long rectangle shape with a round hole in the middle for the doorknob.

Next, color the Ghostface picture on the page, cut it out, and glue it in the middle of the page.

Make use of red paint or glitter glue to add spooky words such as “No One Can Hear You Scream,” and embellish the borders with little paper knives or red splatter effects to give them a bloody appearance.

Put it on the door of any room or classroom for a scary, dramatic entry!
